Meadowbrook Golf Club
Construction of the new Meadow Brook Golf Club Turf Care Center project was started in September of 2011 and was operational in February of 2012. GSA provided Superintendent Matt Cummings with a Master Plan, Exterior Elevations, Computer Generated Renderings and Building Design Services.
The new facility is 4,000 square feet. An area of 1,820 square feet is open on three sides. This contains a stand-alone chemical storage unit, gasoline and diesel fuel tanks and an ESD microbial washdown system. The enclosed portion of the building is 2,180 square feet and houses a single bay equipment repair area, grinding operations, parts storage, staff break/meeting room, staff lockers, staff bathrooms and administration. There is a 1,400 square foot loft area in the building for additional storage.
The existing 2,400 square foot maintenance building has been converted to equipment storage and is located approximately 100 feet away from the new Turf Care Center.
